Hemant’s shirt (right) says, “Ultimately, we’re all African-Americans”. Which means, we (humans) all share a common evolutionary ancestor. Also, race is not a scientifically supported concept. We’re all just humans.

I’m updating my website, and I’ll be posting some images that I haven’t shared before. These are from the wedding of Jennifer and Adam. The ceremony was at Alice Millar Chapel at Northwestern University, and the reception at Promontory Point.

And this is currently one of my favorites. It’s nice to make beautiful images, but I’m much more interested in capturing moments like this.

From awhile back…came across this jazz performance after finishing up another shoot at Navy Pier. This is in the Crystal Gardens, which on an overcast day has beautiful even lighting that’s perfect for photography.

I used to play the trumpet, and played in one of the jazz bands at U of I.

On the way out to the car, we stopped to look in the crazy fun house mirrors, and this girl paused for a second to pose.
